I bought a sensor from a site that claimed it was a SHT10 chip with included 10k pull-up resistors on the clock and data pins and also a decoupling capacitor. After testing the a SHT1x lib I could not get things to work. I then opened the unit and took some close up pics of the sensor and it showed SHT30. I then tried a couple of SHT3x libs and also nothing worked. I cannot even get an I2C scanner to pick up the sensor.
I tested all the connections with a multimeter and all seemed good, I also checked for the pull-up resistors with the multimeter and they seem to be there, the cap seems to be a 240nF across Vcc and GND.
I also tested the full connections to the Arduino Uno with another I2C device and all good.
I bought two of these sensors and both show same issue so not just a bad draw I guess.
Can anyone think of anything else to test?
