Hello everyone
We are trying to build a cask (whisky) monitoring system (weight). We have currently experimented with a weight kit ( Scale Kit with Weight Unit | m5stack-store) and an Atom Lite (ESP32) ( ATOM Lite ESP32 IoT Development Kit | m5stack-store).
The setup with the half bridge works quite well so far. However, the temperature deviations are very large. We therefore want to switch to full bridge load cells such as Mavin NA4 pressure sensor with high precision, 60 kg, 100 kg, 200 350 500 kg, single point beam load cell (200 kg). : Amazon.de: Business, Industry & Science).
The question now is whether we can realize the desired setup with these components. The aim would be to use 2x the Loadcell with 200kg, so that a max. weight of up to 400kg is possible. The question is whether a parallel circuit on the HX711 is possible. Unfortunately, as far as we have seen, only 1 channel is available on the M5Stack Weight Unit. However, before we switch to a circuit board, we wanted to make sure that this makes sense. Alternatively, we could connect 2x HX711 to the Atom Lite or even 2x Atom Lite and then add the values together in the software. Which option makes the most sense from your point of view?
Thank you very much for every hint and support
